Food Table for Dog — Planning & Design Guide

How to choose and plan a food table for dogs in Philippine homes — height, materials, and integration with modular kitchen storage.

Pet feeding station table

A food table for dogs is a small piece of furniture — sometimes called a feeding station or pet mess table — that holds food and water bowls at a raised, stable height. This guide covers what to specify when ordering from a modular cabinet shop in the Philippines.

Layout options

Single-tier table — one shelf with cutouts or inset trays for bowls. Simplest build, easy to move for floor cleaning.

Two-tier module — bowls on top, sealed storage below for kibble, canned food, or grooming kits. Works well in laundry areas adjacent to kitchens.

Integrated kitchen run — pet station at the end of a base cabinet line, matching door color and handle style. Popular in open-plan condo units where visible mismatched plastic stands clash with built-in kitchens.

Height and ergonomics

Toy breeds may only need 10–15 cm of lift; large breeds can require 40 cm or more. Have your fabricator confirm height with the dog present if possible. Slanted floors in older houses mean adjustable feet on the module help keep bowls level.

Finishes

Match kitchen laminates for a cohesive look — common Philippine choices include wood grains (acacia, wenge, oak tones) and solid whites or grays. Marine plywood cores are worth the upgrade when the station sits next to a sink or back door where wet paws track water.

Hygiene

Specify removable bowl rings or stainless inserts that lift out for dishwasher cleaning. Avoid open-grid shelves under bowls unless you want to scrub the floor daily. A slight lip around the top contains splashes.

Bulk orders and multi-unit buildings

Property managers occasionally order identical pet stations for several units. Bulk fabrication can standardize dimensions while allowing minor height tweaks per tenant. Ask about delivery to your city on the Delivery Areas page.
